     Monster marketing, Monster Energy, Monster Girls, and …. equaled better-than-expected 1st quarter earnings for Hansen Natural Corp, the maker of Monster Energy drinks. Thursday, Hansen reported net income of $55 million for the 1st quarter 0f 2011 almost doubling its $32.6 million from the 1st quarter of 2010. But, that isn’t what this note is about. It’s about the girls that wear that unmistakable, monstrous "M."  Look above around Sonni’s neck.  Yes, that "M."

     Monster Energy Drink Girls are a huge part of numerous sports, to include AMA Supercross. On Saturday, Ryan Villopoto, on his Monster Energy Kawasaki, captured the title “World Supercross Champion” by amassing the greatest points total for the 2011 AMA Monster Energy Supercross season. At each of the events, Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas being no exception, Monster Energy Drink Girls played a key role with crowd and riders.


     Sonni Pacheco, above, was one of the lovely, hard working Monster Energy Drink girls at Vegas. Twenty-two year old Sonni grew up in Pitt Meadows, Canada right outside of Vancouver, and claims to have been a frog loving tomboy when younger. Today, she is modeling and looks forward to working with Monster Energy Drinks for years to come.
