US Women's Beach Volleyball Team of May-Treanor and Walsh Continue Push for 3rd Straight Olympic Gold Medal by Winning Their Opening Match in 2012 London Summer Games
The US women's beach volleyball team of Misty May-Treanor (top photo) (Santa Monica, California) and Kerri Walsh (bottom photo) (San Jose, California) won their 2012 London Summer Olympic Opener yesterday by defeating the Australian Team of Natalie Cook and Tamsin Hinchley 21-18 and 21-19.
May-Treanor and Walsh (in their quest for a 3rd straight Olympic Gold Medal) play again Monday against the Czech Republic Team of Marketa Slukova and Kristyna Kolocova.
